Patient satisfaction after ultrasound guided sclerotherapy:

In a study of 351 patients the authors found that most patients have a wide range of expectations in relation to the treatment of leg veins.  It was reported that UGS (Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy) is usually able to meet, and often exceeds, these needs and expectations at 6 months after treatment.  The researchers concluded that UGS is a highly effective treatment for varicose veins from the patients’ perspective.
